What are you waiting for?
Start your own Liahona microschool!

Our complete, easy-to-use curriculum makes it possible for families to organize co-ops with neighbors and friends that do more than provide weekly enrichment. A Liahona Microschool can provide all of your family's education needs.

Organizing a Liahona Microschool

Join forces with at least 1 other family to educate your children at home. Determine how many days a week you would like to meet and what days you will facilitate the instruction.

When it is your turn, you will monitor the students as they watch 4 or 5 short daily videos and complete assignments in their workbooks. You will not be responsible for planning instruction daily. You will help individual students as needed. You will read the book club novel aloud, lead discussions, guide science experiments and art projects, and play group learning games with the students.

Our video model makes it possible for parent facilitators to supervise many students of varying ages at the same time and meet their individual learning needs.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR GROUP
TO MEET YOUR NEEDS

  • Parents can take turns facilitating as kids rotate homes. Or choose one home that is ideal for school and rotate facilitators. Facilitate every other day, once a week, or once every few weeks as needed.

  • Meet with your co-op from 1 to 4 days a week while students do the videos on their own the other days. Add in parent-led electives after the regular school day if desired. Set your own calendar and start and end times.

  • Take advantage of the program's flexibility. Kids never need to miss a day when they are sick. They can catch up on their videos at home. And families can take their classes on the road when they go on vacation.
